Job Description



  • High School Diploma/GED  - Technical Degree highly desired.

  • Background in cell phones and a good understanding of electronics desired.   

  • Technical and troubleshooting skills (Must be comfortable handling, diagnosing and clearing data on cell phones).

  • Ability to properly handle and control materials.

  • Understand the Production Flow process and the Job responsibilities of the area

  • Analytical reasoning and problem solving.

  • Management of maximums and minimums.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English.              

  • Keep your work area daily, according to the standard of the 5S 's.

  • Participate in Lean Manufacturing /EMC Teams and / or FIH key principles on quality, costs, productivity and social responsibility, etc.

  • Comply with and enforce the provisions of the System Management Environment, Health and Safety.


Job Requirements



  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment.

  • Identify, diagnose and repair equipment problems and documents information.

  • Makes changes to equipment under required supervision to implement changes requested by engineering.

  • Provide ideas and corrective actions for any manufacturing equipment issues.

  • Track spare part usage and notify department Engineer when stock becomes low.

  • Recognize failures, set up problems, isolating issues, and taking appropriate actions to resolve those problems.

  • Notify appropriate personnel when any part or repair is running out so it can be ordered in time.

  • Meet with next shift technical team to communicate problems and corrective measures accomplished during current shift.

  • Inspect and maintain procedures for continuous improvement for the entire process.

  • Training of production supervisors, area leads, and other (p.e. operators).

  • Assist in shut downs and start-ups.

  • Other duties as assigned.
