Job Description

Responsible for proactively maintaining and growing the business of current, prospective and new Nexus Disposal customers.   In addition, Sales/Data Entry position is responsible for ensuring that assigned customers have current signed written agreements on file and the appropriate service agreement information is entered into database.  Under general supervision, conducts activities associated with closing new customers, and achieves budgeted closing and productivity goals by utilizing sound telephone based selling approaches.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

·  Generates revenue utilizing a consultative selling approach in the sale of Nexus Disposal services on inbound calls that are typically small and less complex accounts.

·  Converts current customers to signed written agreements by providing ongoing education of contract details to existing customers and by obtaining customer contract commitments using sound telephone based negotiation practices

·  Updates and secures customer service agreements.

·  Generates revenue growth by utilizing a consultative selling approach in the retention of current Nexus Disposal customers.

·  Establishes and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction. Communicates to and works with the Retention Manager to resolve unique customer issues.

·  Matches Nexus Disposal services with customer needs by demonstrating knowledge of customers, pricing and competition; effectively communicates pricing and service strategies; proactively engages other Nexus Disposal business opportunities, referring internally as appropriate.


·  Establishes and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction in all sales transactions.

·  Consistently meets or exceeds weekly and monthly sales activity goals.

·  Executes sales campaigns via outbound telephone marketing to consistently meet or exceed aggressive weekly and monthly sales activity goals.

·  Attracts, generates, manages and records leads from outbound telephone marketing.

·  Demonstrates excellent organizational and problem solving skills.

·  Exhibits proficient knowledge and use of personal computer and computer software applications.

·  Proposes customer solutions that are compliant with appropriate local, state and federal regulations.

·  Effectively uses Nexus Disposal sales productivity software tools (i.e. Prospect and Customer Database, Proposal Program, Pricing Tools, etc.).

Job Requirements

Bilingual (English/Spanish)

HS Diploma or GED

Minimum 1yr Inside Sales experience
